Parker Marine Group welcomes Ed Griffin aboard as a new Auckland based broker. Ed has worked in the superyacht industry for 15 years, starting out as a deckhand and working his way up the chain of command to Captain. Along the way he gained RYA Commercial Yachtmaster Offshore, 200 ton, and has held an MCA, 3000-ton, Master, Class 4 certification. Ed has logged more than 70,000 Nautical miles on Motoryachts and Sailboats, from 15m to large 50m vessels, ranging from innovative Aerorig to the wonderful J Class sailing yachts, in Europe, USA, the Caribbean and the Pacific. Ed Brings a friendly and personable approach to brokerage and is ready to assist vendors selling, or buyers finding suitable vessels.
When he’s not talking about boats, he is out there enjoying the water, Scuba diving, Spearfishing, Kitesurfing, and Sportfishing.
